Local Experiences

Choose from charming restaurants, lively pubs, or unique food trucks, and pair your fare with regional hand-crafted beer, wine, or cider.

Sample your way through Kamloops’ popular micro-breweries for local craft brews and some of the best dry cider in BC. Sip along Kamloops’ four wineries and visit a tasting room to find your new favourite. Take your morning coffee and head to the Kamloops Farmers’ Market. You will find locally grown produce, baked goods, hand-crafted items, vintage clothing and more.

Arts & Culture

Kamloops hosts a large number of artists and unique artistic events and experiences. From large-scale productions to grassroots performances, there is always a provocative and entertaining experience awaiting you. Visit the symphony, or absorb the sounds of Music in the Park, free every night in July and August. For a more dramatic experience witness a Western Canada Theatre production. There’s a world of live theatre awaiting you. The celebration of culture and history of Kamloops’ First Nations people comes alive at the Secwepemc Museum and Heritage Park. In August, enjoy the Kamloopa Powwow — the largest in Western Canada.
