Urgent/Patrol Doctor at Sun Peaks Health Centre

STEPS is excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated Urgent/Patrol Doctor to join our team at the Sun Peaks Health Centre. This position offers a unique experience to provide medical care to both urgent care patients and individuals brought in by patrol from the mountain with injuries.
Compensation is $185 per hour, and accommodation is provided in a 2-bedroom suite or at the Sun Dance Lodge. Ski passes are provided based on the number of shifts worked.
Seeking shift coverage all Sundays starting November 17; November 24-27; December 26-January 15; and February 17-March 31. Shifts are 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Interior Health Long-term Care 6-Month Positions

Interior Health is seeking physicians for two six-month pilot contracts to provide long-term care at Overlander and Ponderosa Lodge. The site FP plays a core role by providing MRP and consultative care for inpatients. The patient caseload consists predominantly of geriatric residents as well as those needing 24-hour nursing care. The work is rewarding due to the MRP's ability to have a direct influence on the quality of life as our seniors age. On-site hours are generally 8 a.m.-12 p.m., Monday to Friday, with afterhours and on-call support required. Overlander is a 183-bed long-term care facility with four community hospice beds. Immediate Full Time Opportunity at TRFO

Join an excellent team of physicians with a passion for obstetrical care. The Thompson Region Family Obstetrics (TRFO) group cares for about 60% of pregnant women in Kamloops and surrounding areas, attending about 600 deliveries a year. Located at Royal Inland Hospital (RIH), our excellent team also includes two registered midwives, who provide postpartum care, a patient care coordinator, and medical office assistants. You can be sure to receive fantastic obstetrical support at Royal Inland Hospital (RIH).
TRFO is looking to add 2-3 full-time members to our team. A full-time position includes three, eight-hour clinic days & three, 24 hour on-call shifts per month. There is flexibility around splitting shifts and monthly scheduling. The group has negotiated a service contract for prenatal, intrapartum and postpartum care. Highlights of the model include: Stipend per 24-hour shift, after hours premiums, guaranteed on-site hours, and hourly rates for clinic and on-site care.
